Oh, what a weekend! Really the best way to sum up this weekend was that the people were even better than the flowers. Loring, Joey, and their families were simply excited to celebrate, and an amazing vendor team brought their vision to life. After meeting years ago at Camp Balcones Springs, there was really no other place for Loring and Joey to host their friends and family to witness the beginning of their marriage. By chance, I had quite a bit of work in the Hill Country around the time of Loring & Joey’s wedding, and it was great to get to work with a few local vendors this year in addition to bringing in some of my favorite creative partners from Dallas. Loring requested all of the colors, but especially pink, and Jackson Durham was the star of the show bringing her floral vision to life. Loring’s family had worked with Jackson Durham on her sister’s wedding a few months before her engagement, and bringing their team in again for this destination wedding was a non-negotiable.
