There are so many things to say about Mary Kerr and Davis’ wedding weekend. First and foremost, this weekend was a testament to Faith (with a big F), commitment, and glory to God. Second, this weekend was an unwanted pivot. It absolutely would not have been possible or even feasible without the longstanding relationships and confidence I (am so fortunate to) have with Whim Event Rentals, Jackson Durham, and Rosemary’s Catering.
After the devastating flooding in the Hill Country in July 2025, Mary Kerr and Davis’ wedding was in need of a revision on size, location, and overall weekend scheduling. Thanks to incredible vendor support, we were able to re-vision Mary Kerr and Davis’ wedding weekend in 30 days.
Thanks to local friends of Mary Kerr’s family, Chinquipin Ranch was secured as our venue, and my team got to work on the rest. Whim Event Rentals was quick to supply all of our basic rental needs, including a backup tent we thankfully didn’t need. Rosemary’s worked rapidly on our menu, service style, bar menu, and headcount. Jackson Durham, as always, catered to the client’s every need and brought Mary Kerr’s vision to life in a new space. The florals, design, linens, and layout couldn’t have come to life without collaboration between myself and these teams, in addition to the team at Illios Lighting and Sound.
Special shout outs: Cathy’s Cakes for the most amazing Italian wedding cake, Gary P. Nunn for the best pre-party reception dancing and entertainment, Mary Kerr and her mom for trusting me to plan this wedding twice, and Jackson Durham for the ground install of all of our dreams. And Mary Kerr’s hair for being better than all of our hair.
